My name is Corey Jordan Booth and I come from a small town called Aberdare which is located in the beautiful valleys of South Wales.
I was born on the 18/09/1991 and I’m currently 20 years of age.
I don’t smoke, drink alcohol or take drugs (One of the few people my age from the area that I live in that is like this).
All my way through school I was not the best behaved child, I preferred skipping classes and rebelling against authority which looking back now was not the greatest of idea’s as I have few qualifications ![]()
I have many goals in life, the main ones are:
# – Get My Poetry Noticed
# – Become A Care Worker or Professional Writer
All through my life I have never really excelled in anything and could not find anything that would give me self-satisfaction,
but now I have found that writing lyrics fills that void.
My main writing style is in rhyme, this being in a poem, rap or freestyle. Rhyming words together is something that has come
naturally to me and now im learning more skills to be able to time the rhymes with conviction which is making my work better.
On my blog you will be seeing a lot of freestyle, this is a poem or even a rap that i think of straight off the top of my head, i just keep writing what comes into it without editing anything, so even if its poor i still post it, this seems to get my brain in gear which makes it easier to write serious work later on in the day.
Feel free to criticize, praise or even just randomly comment on my work, im always happy to see what people think of my work so i know how to improve in future.
This has been just a quick insight into me i hope you enjoy my work

its good to have goals.. Its a pleasure to meet such a talented poet, i hope you will be able to succeed with your goals and i am still exploring your blog, but i gotta say, the little that iv read so far i love.
Im uploading a poem i just wrote about Child abuse now, its a touching one you should give it a read
I shall check out your blog now
why?
sorry rough question.
but at just slightly older than you, i wrote on a similar theme, but with no experience of it other than second had and press.
im from the swansea valley, but born in bangor, left home at 18 , then 20 yrs in london before i shifted to to thailand and now malaysia.
keep it up
Hello Katerina, Phil, Anne, Carrot, Erectitudes, Clown Rhymes, Lady (with a truck
), Guess what I did today, What happened to Alice, Traces of Jupiter, Barking in the Dark, KLRS09 (all that matters), Edward, Sk8erchrissheek, Waefarer.
If your name is embolded, it means I have your email address. If your name is NOT embolded, it means I’m going to have to post this as a comment on your blog – but to be discrete as possible, I will post it in the ‘About You’.
I figured after asking the first couple of Gravatars could I have their email address that most people don’t seem to want their email address out there so my best approach, with respect for your privacy, is to paste this as a comment.
THE INSPIRATION
Mid October Katerina very generously awarded me the One lovely blog award. I was honoured, sincerely, but it seemed too much work to accept it (sorry!). BUT THEN, October 30 Phil awarded me the Versatile blog award. Again I was chuffed – it really is lovely to be thought of like this. I then thought, maybe I can accept both awards in one post, and highlight some of my favourite bloggers in the meantime.
THE IDEA
I wish to do a video which opens with links to both Katerina’s page and Phil’s page AND a quote of 1-2 (no more) paragraphs of one of your blogs, read by me – and then telling the viewer that to see the end of that post, visit the blog!
The video would then move on to me doing a reading of 1-2 paras (no more) of each and every other one of you others, as I wish to nominate you all for these awards too – as you others would be my nominees.
IT MUST BE UNDERSTOOD THAT ACCEPTING NOMINATION IS NOT ESSENTIAL – IT IS ENTIRELY OPTIONAL (which is why I didn’t think I could be bothered with the first nomination – oh the rules on acceptance!). You accept it or don’t; it’s up to you – in the very least, it’s nice to be mentioned.
THE REQUEST
I request your permission to read 1-2 paras of your work on a video, and then finish the read with a link to your page, and announcing you as a nominee. If you don’t like this idea at all, you are so very free to say no thanks.
I require your consent because to me words are quiet precious. You bring them to mind and arrange them in your style and you begift whomever you wish to, and it just may be that you don’t want your words going too far.
THE DEADLINE
Today is Sunday 6 November to me. For all the people who respond to me at wordsfallfrommyeyes@hotmail.com saying yes I may quote their words in the video, I will do those people only. If you don’t respond, or if you respond to say ‘no, please don’t', I respect fully your wishes.
I intend to film next Saturday and hopefully have the video up by early next week. So I do look forward to hearing from you.
That wasn’t exactly brief, but I did need to say it and not everyone had an email address.
Kindest best to you, fellow bloggers, & some of you being subbers too.
Sincerely,
N’n.
SPECIFIC FAVOUR REQUESTED: Can someone – someone please help me and copy this email onto the blog of ‘What’s Happened to Alice’. I like her page very much and really want her in this, and would be honoured if she would allow me to read something of hers – BUT I KEEP GETTING FAILURE MESSAGES – I CAN’T POST MESSAGES TO HER PAGE. I HAVE NO WAY OF CONTACTING WHAT’S HAPPENED TO ALICE. Please could you do this for me, someone – http://whatshappenedtoalice.blogspot.com/ – and let me know what she says? Thank you.
thank you so much for subscribing to my writing bits! (smile) keep up the rhymes. cheers, y
It was not a problem
I will thank you for commenting
clownponders….g’day…I’m informed you are now following my blog, so I’m stopping by to say thanks, and express my hopes it will continue to interest you, and hopefully, provide occasional insight and/or smiles. I’ll be checking out your site over the next couple days, and will comment where appropriate. Welcome to my blog, and thanks for reading!…:-)
Hello!
I wish you all the best with your goals and I, too, have some dreams I’d like to make reality. Keep persevering! Thanks also for visiting my blog, liking “Dear God” and for subscribing! I am doing the same!
Lauren
I hope your dreams come true! That was not a problem and i cannot wait to see more from your blog
Goals and Dreams are OK, as long as you keep your pay job.
I agree, people should not get to caught up in their dreams so much that they forget about reality.
Thanks for visiting my blog and following. I loved going through your creative writing. Wishing you all the success in your life. Love. Sreeni
Hi there! Thanks for the “likes” on my blog. To be able to rhyme is special. Keep going. We’ll talk more soon.
It was not a problem at all
I look forward to it.
Thanks for stopping by my blog!
I’m excited to see what you do here – don’t know if you have watched any slam poetry by Carlos Andres Gomez? You should check it out – incredible!
Hi, thanks for visiting me just now. I want to encourage you to just write as your are feeling led to do as you do now. Creativity is often subdued when we try to force it into a form. Just embrace each experience and take the next step.
I also wanted to ask you how you found my blog as I want to know more about how people are finding me. You can answer here or send me an email at patcegan@hotmail.com Thanks! hugs, pat
I know, i like creating my own flow of poem but i also like to try other rhyming patterns just to find out if it works or not
Thank you for the comment.!
I found your blog while searching through poetry posts
Thanks for passing by my blog, liking my post and the follow. It’s great to share that you have dreams and are pursuing them. I wish you the very best in your pursuits and don’t ever give up!
It was my honour.! Thank you i will never give up, we only get one life so you have to aim as high as possible
Hi man, jst wanted to show my appreciation for your like on my post. It’s my sophomore publication (on WordPress )and it means a lot to me to know that I hav an audience as I hav struggled for the same b4..again much appreciation
Its not a problem! I hope you get alot more appreciation in future you deserve it
“i just keep writing what comes into it without editing anything, so even if its poor i still post it, this seems to get my brain in gear which makes it easier to write serious work later on in the day…” -
sounds like you’ve got it down
so “i” wouldn’t say you “have not yet achieved anything worthwhile”
saw on your sidebar, “Cant wait for Elisha to come home to touch her lips, Joke i just want her to bring home curry & chips, I bet when she see’s this she flips!” – lips & chips, hard to beat that
Freestyle rhyming really helps and also improves your rhyming in general
Hahahaha! You only have 140 characters on Twitter to you have to keep it simple, made me giggle that comment did!
I appreciate you following my posts on WordPress.com. I’ve just got started- my friends have encouraged me to ‘publish’, so it is nice to know that ‘strangers’ are reading what I write. I plan to write and post more, as I can during the holidays.
I believe you have a lot of promise -although I don’t use the same style as you. Whatever you do – keep following your dream!!
I do have one constructive criticism-You should not use he and I both in in your introduction. It sounds better and is easier to understand if you use ‘I’. Whichever you use, ‘I’ or ‘he’ – use consistently. It is confusing to the reader to change pronouns, they won’t know who you are talking about!
Thank you very much for pointing that out for me!
I edited my “about me” page yesterday and copied that part off my Tumblr account and me being the fool that i am forgot to change it!
Its suprised how many people didnt notice it haha!
Thank you for your comment it means alot
Without dreams it’s hard to fly. Poets need to let their imaginations fly at times throughout the universe, or discover reality while crawling through life. Your creativity releases your heart and soul. Be aware that as a poet your words have the power to reach others and influence lives.
Share your rhymes and messages. Your talent is evident. Poem on, my friend.
One of my main reasons for writing poetry is so other people can relate to it, there are alot of people in a dark please and hopefully they can take something out of my work.
Thank you very much for the comment, i look forward to seeing more from your blog
thanks for following our blog – the likes are encouraging. we’re just writing straight from the heart. don’t think there’s any particular style – just inspiration from our boy up there
lots of love & God bless. keep writing…:)
there’s some pretty interesting stuff on your blog…
Hello there, thank you for taking a look at my blog and liking my poem! All the best to you.
Thank you for stopping by and following my blog. I wish you success with your dreams, you have to chase them because you never know what will happen and it is better to regret what you have done then what you haven’t done. You are young so you have time on your side!
Keep reading, there are some excellent poetry blogs out there and read some of the classics too, as reading other poetry will give you a good idea of what works, and how it works. Continue to write from the heart and about things you know.
What would a life be without Dreams
hey ~ thanks for the likes and for following my blog!
Good luck with each of your goals ~ stick with it & see where your effort takes you! (envying your natural rhyming abilities… it’s not how i tend, but hey…)
Haha thank you this means alot
Thanks for visiting and for following my little weekly tanka blog! I have read through many of your poems, and I really enjoyed them. You are very talented.
Poetry has had a healing effect for me and some friends of mine…
I especially love the post on schizophrenia and how you used poetry to raise awareness. I don’t believe I have every seen that done before!
Anyway, you are truly an original – keep going and good luck with your goals!
I feel the same about poetry, it helps me deal with some of my emotions.
Thank you, schizophrenia is a topic that i rarely seen spoke about so i thought i would try to raise some awareness about it
Thank you very much and i look forward to seeing more from your blog
Thanks so much for following my blog! I’m on other of life from you (60 & disabled) but I sense that we have at least one thing in common – love language and words. Good luck with your blog.
It’s nice to meet you, Thanks for Visiting my blog. It’s always great to have dreams and goals. Never give up on your dreams no matter how bleak the journey feels. You have the potential to succeed when you have the drive. Remain encouraged and you just don’t know what doors will open in your life if you make your dreams become alive. I will definitely read your stuff
I will never give up on my dreams, we only get one life its up to ourselves to make the most of it
Thank you i look forward to seeing more from your blog also
Your ambitions are inspiring! Thank you for sharing
And thank you for taking time to comment it
you’ve got dreams and determination — and word power! you will achieve, maybe even write lyrics for songs: find someone that writes great melodies: offer to write lyrics to their beats.
Writing is a therapy.Keep on writing whatever comes to your mind,it is a good exercise and will bring what you wish ,my young friend.
Thanks for stopping by my site, glad you liked it…:-)
Your dreams and goals are heavy and real. I feel the same way. I knew for many years I wanted to do one thing: Write. I love writing poetry and fiction and adore reading them, however writing is such a competitive field and I’d rather do nothing else but write!
I have lost several jobs as well. It seems every job I had, it was either for strike relief or temporary work and so now those dreams have blossomed even bigger as I write online content for “chump” change and live off of that.
Keep blogging. Keep rhyming. Keep dreaming.
Erica
Keep up the good work. Have you looked at the “slam poetry” particularly the work of Taylor Mali. Google his name. There are some good clips on Youtube.
Big thanks for stopping by my blogsite and for the follow!
Keep up the good work!
It is great to get to know you a little! Thanks for stopping by my blog, as well!
I also post a lot of poems that have not been edited, and for some of the same reasons you state! One way I got better at rhyming in freestyle thought is by rewriting song lyrics in my head as the song is playing on the radio/CD/vinyl (oh, yes!)/cassette/other music players or internet. I also agree with others here that you should (if you have not already) look up slam poetry. It is a lot of fun!
Our dreams give us something to strive toward, that encourage hope in our lives. As long as we do not hold so tightly to our dreams so as to make them our ultimate reality (except maybe with God), if we never achieve them or, possibly worse, do achieve them we are able to handle life without being crushed. KEEP DREAMING! KEEP STRIVING FOR YOUR GOALS!
Corey, I nominated you for the Liebster Blog Award. Feel free to accept it or not. I know there are some bloggers who prefer not to deal with awards. I understand that. It’s my appreciation of your work and talent. if you want to accept it, take your time. You can find it here http://peaceroad.wordpress.com/2011/11/28/the-liebster-blog-award/
Keep writing, keep rhyming, keep dreaming. You only live once.
~Olive Tree.
I definatly accept!
Thank you very much! Im not sure if i have to do anything now, im not used to getting nominated for anything!
Nice blog! Thanks for checking mine out. Best of luck to you with all your dreams and such!!
I can appreciate a clown that ponders and a man who has dreams and goals, but still takes the time to rhyme. Thank you very much for the like on “Ministre Berger” and follow. I’ll follow you back- not because of some kind of unwritten rule of blog etiquette, but because your poetry genuinely intrigues me. Take care of yourself!
It was no problem at all i really enjoyed it
Thank you very much i hope you continue to find my work interesting and i look forward to seeing more from your blog in future
Your words have a way of crossing geographic, generational, and cultural boundaries and connecting with an old guy like me. Never give up.
Thanks for visiting my blog.
Thank you that means a lot, I try to make poetry suitable to all ages and I’m glad its working
Never give up, youth is too good to waste. You’ll never know it until you look back. To put your goals in front of you is the best place to begin. ‘As a man thinketh so is he’. So keep the thought in your mind of how you will your life to be, and it cannot be any less than that. Look into the work of Earl Nightingale, Dale Carnegie, Napoleon Hill. and dozens of others, you will find the world is your oyster, enjoy every moment of being! It is the greatest gift.
Wish you a luck for your dreams, dude.
God bless. And thank you for following my BLOG
Thank you
It was my pleasure!
Interesting blog you have….a song writer in you!
Thanks for the follow! You’ve got good rhymes, kid.

Hello friend,
Nice blog. Thanks for liking my post.
I might have some writings you might enjoy. I was incarcerated in the Federal Prison system here in the good ole’ US of A ..I memorialized some of my journey thru my blog, then while inside prison thru a rhythmic cadence type of poetry.
Some of it is on my blog http://www.sobnyc.wordpress.com.
Also on Amazon.com look up “Tales of a Sinner by, Steve O’Brien”, a story I wrote about growing up in New York City during the 1970′s. (It’s a free book BTW)
Keep in touch,
-Peace
Well, it seems like we have things in common. I’m a big dreamer too, but everything seems not be going well for me, so i decided i will publicize my talent. something good might come u never know. Anyways, all the best!

May you have a glorious and Happy Year of the Water Dragon. May it be the beginning of wonderful years one right after another.
Hello Clown Rhymes,
Not everyone has the gift or talent to write. However, you have it and I encourage you to write more as long as you want and capable of.
You’re still young and have more years ahead of you to write, learn and polish the ART that is in you. Keep exploring and experimenting with your creative mind.
I wish you the best of everything!
P.S.
Thanks for following my blog.

Hi Corey,
Thanks for reading my poetry. We’re all in this together, right?
Thanks for the like. It looks like you got the ‘ache of the artist’ as I call it. Wishing you well!
Hi,
I want to thank you for following me on my blog as it is always self-rewarding to know that someone might like some things I like. I hope you drop by ever so often but I usually don’t talk about anything to profoundly. But like you, I just like putting some thoughts down on paper and I usually like a little rhythm to it and a little rhyme, too. The next guy or gal probably hates it, but that’s okay. I’m just more comfortable with the rhyme. Most of the songs I’ve written, if not all, don’t have rhyming words….very odd. ha ha
hi,
thank you for the likes and for following, I really appreciate it! I like the way your rhymes flow, like waves creating momentum -keep on sharing! Wishing you a great creative year!
Thanks for following! Just read a few bits and bobs on here and so far really enjoying it. Very accessible; those who have an intricate knowledge of poetry, semantics and literature or those who have never read a poem in their lives would all take pleasure in reading this. Keep it up.
Thanks for liking “The Deer”….somewhat a menace, at times, around here in all their beauty.
tom

Hi Corey,
thanks for following my blog!
Hey, just wanted to say thanks for taking an interest in my blog! I’m like you in the sense that writing fills a void in my life so it’s encouraging when people actually read and notice it.
Would also like to say, keep chasing your dream; it’s clear you’ve got a lot of passion for poetry and lyrics from the few pieces I read. You write about things that people can relate to and that’s important.
Good luck with the future
Hi! Happy you found my blog, and I’ll trust that the messages bring Light to your life as you read them. Your words here on your blog are excellent – keep with it, and you’ll see you’re clearing a new path for yourself with your art. Rock on…

i really enjoyed reading through your rhymes!i write the odd ditty myself, but mine automatically tend towards the morbid (should I be concerned,d’you think?). Thanks for checking out my blog, hope to hear from you when i next put a poem up, its always nice to hear from someone doing similar things.
Haha no theres no need to be concerned, the dark sparks the truest art
It was not a problem i look forward to seeing more from you

Greetings Clownponders! Thanks for joining on. Getting started is the key to everything. You share your B-day with a very famous and current opera singer, Anna Netrebko, who got the singing bug bad and at the age of 16 trudged from her home town of Krasnodar, south east Russia to enroll in the Marijinsky School of Music in St Petersburg. Virgos (I am one) can put the pedal to the metal easily, IF they get their priorities right. Anna is a marvelous performer and singer, leaves nothing behind in her performances. She follows Timberlake when she’s not on stage, and dances up a storm at parties, all to get a grip of her energy. Cheers, K

Hi
Thanks for following my blog.
Goals versus dreams? All I can say is that it was never one of my goals to live in a beautiful part of India and have the life I am living – that could only have been a dream but here I am!
So dream on! Even if you don’t achieve your dreams you will gather many wonderful experiences pursuing them!
Dorinda (lakesideindia)

Hi, Corey,
Just wanted to thank you for visiting my site and leaving a footprint. Your poems are lovely. How I would love to visit Wales!
Thanks for the like and the follow! And don’t think you haven’t achieved anything; putting your art down on paper, virtual or otherwise, is always an accomplishment.
Hi ClownRhymes, thanks for supporting my site and the post on Lantern Festival.
Do you have a favorite piece of poetry, or favorite poet?
Happy Lantern Festival to you and all your readers!
Thanks for the follow! Hopefully I’ll get around to participating in your Poetry Challenge, seems like fun!
Thanks for the follow! I’m such a newb at poetry that reading your work has got me awestruck! You have amazing talent, hopefully we’ll all get to hear you performing a rap on the radio one day.
Atlas.
Hi! Thanks for stopping by my blog. About to explore yours
Thank you so much for stopping by and following my blog. I love the idea of a poetry challenge, coming from someone who used to enter all the poetry contests as much as possible! Consider yourself followed!
Thanks
Feel free to take part! I look forward to seeing your work!
Thank you for the follow! I’m now following as well and look forward to reading your writing and poetry
Thanks for stopping by my blog! Hope to participate in one of the poetry challenges soon.
Corey, Thanks for stopping by my blog. You have a lot of cool poetry on yours–I especially like the way you speak in your own voice not anything contrived. I love poetry of all types and I’m inspired to write when I read other poets. I wouldn’t describe myself as a poet first–just someone who occasionally dabbles and does enjoy writing. I’m a visual artist first and I find myself using poetry or prose to inspire what I paint. I’ve been thinking for awhile about combining the two in one work. Have you ever tried “stream of consciousness” writing? I’m in a group that worked through the book “The Artists Way” and one of the suggestions was writing every morning for 20 minutes–just dumping all the stuff in your head on paper–doesn’t have to make sense. It really frees up your creativity to get that all out. Keep up the writing–you’ve got a lot to say!
Hello Corey – I noticed that you stopped-by my blog this morning…thank you for visiting and letting me know you were there. Scott
Hey man
Seems you’ve become quite the regular on my page

Ryan.

Hi Corey, Thanks for following my blog. I’m impressed by your poetic efforts at your young age. And I’m VERY pleased to read that you’re not interested in drugs. Go you!!!
My poetry submissions come from my father’s poetry book full of stuff he wrote himself or copied from other soldiers during WWII. He was about your age when he wrote them, about 20 or 21. Unfortunately I can’t put whole poems on my blog because I haven’t done the homework about copyright, but just one or two verses is enough for a taste of a poem.
Thanks for checking out my blog. Hope you come back!
I think you have a worthy goal, and a good head, keep up the good work.
Hi Corey, I received a notice that you visited and liked my site: National Reading Diagnostics Institute and Keys Learning, of which I am the director and founder. I went to your blog and read your write up “About Me.” When I read it I totally understood why you liked my site—my institute and books are totally written for students as you used to be who may not learn in the same way as others, and do not think they are good at school. Was that true for you? Many students who do not learn in the way the school is teaching have dropped out, tuned out, or gave up. Why? Some people are tactile or kinesthetic learners or right brain learners but they are trapped in schools where they are being taught in a style that is not their best (for ex: visual and auditory or left brain.) It can also be true the other way around also. As a result, the students feel they are not smart or even dumb or stupid, when actually they are brilliant. I developed reading and learning strategies and materials for each type of learner and a Superlinks test to find out how one learns best. From that, using my methods, even the most failing students have gone to A’s within a few months!
You said you wanted to be possible a care worker.
There are millions of students out there struggling like you did, and my aim is to help them discover the key to their brain and learning and help them be successful. If you struggled like that, you may also have a desire to help them (such as in your poem on Bullying),
You may find some of my materials on my many websites: readinginstruction.com keysytolearningsuccess.com keystoreadingsuccess.com and superlinkslearning.com and nationalreadingdiagnosticsinstitute.wordpress.com to provide the mystery of why you used to struggle as a student and maybe to help others who read your poetry or parents of children who are also struggling.
I am glad you enjoy poetry. Let me know if I can assist you in anyway, or if we can help the many struggling learners out there crying for help (and who are getting bullied) who are struggling in school.
I will share your contest with my students at the reading institute to see if any one of them wants to enter the contest!
With best regards,

Hi Corey, thanks for checking out my blog and becoming a follower. I’ve been reading some of your love poems this morning and I love them. I’ve been writing poetry since I was little (I’m now 37) and I wrote a lot of love poems. Then I got into my teen years and my poetry became dark. I took a poetry class in college and I realized I love all styles and love to play around with them. I, too, want my poetry out there for others to enjoy. I just started my poetry blog and I hope it becomes half as popular as yours! Keep writing and good luck with your dreams. You’re very talented.
I shall try and view every post you share
I’ve only been writing for about a year so you have so much more experience than me, i too started writing dark poems, thats really what got me started with poetry! Your blog will get popular, it just takes time
Thank you for following my blog. I look forward to reading some of your poetry and will have to share some of my own soon as well.
D.
Corey,
Hi! I saw you take a look at as well as a like and a follow to my blog.
I just wanted to say that I’m flattered you decided to take a look! I find your work pretty fascinating, so I thought I’d drop by and give you the same courtesy. I’ll try not to criticize too hard, because no work is truly perfect. I mostly write from between classes, but I’ll try and comment on your stuff when I have the time. Writers should support one another.
I think it’s awesome that you want to be a professional writer- it’s a long held dream of mine to one day actually be able to write works for people to read and enjoy. I hope to be able to keep my blog of free stuff up as long as I can. If you want me to look at anything in particular you can shoot me an email or something- I don’t check super frequently, but when I do I try to get back to everyone!
Thanks again for stopping by! I hope to read more of your work in the future!
-Eris
Good luck with your poetry! Wishing you the best
Thank you so much for liking my words and subscribing to my blog. When I first saw your name I thought of my dad who was in Ainad Shrine’s Krazy Klowns. I can remember him working the Shrine circus all dressed up in his costume and clown makeup. Thanks for evoking such fond memories.
good luck with your writing.
Nice to hear from you Corey, thanks for checking my blog. You sure got things going here! Did you every read The Plague Dogs? Amazing Richard Adams story, set in Wales.
Poetry with rhymes, huh? I always love poetry and I think its catchier when you put it with rhymes. Thanks for the stars and following by blog. Keep up the awesome poetry
thanks for the follow! looking forward to reading your material

Thanks a lot for liking my post and following my blog. Apart from poems, I also write book & poetry reviews. Your blog is meaningful and some of your poems have a social message.
Oh my Lord ~ When I was your age I had those same two goals. The thing is, I didn’t have enough confidence in myself to go after them with vigor. You have a way better head start than I ever did, you keep up this good work and it will happen for you soon.
How lovely to know you’re out there writing, creating, breathing your life. Great to have goals, and great to have the determination to follow them.
Really delighted that you enjoyed my monologue ‘Alleluia’. It’s being published in an anthology later this month. Now all I need is an actress to perform it!
Keep in touch and keep writing!
Warmest wishes,
Claire Booker

Ah, Wales. Been a handful of times but never really saw it. I was just there playing a few gigs with some bands I was in while living in Bristol. The college crowd were quite rowdy there though! lol
Nice (sort of) meeting you (as best we can, here on the web). I appreciate your love for rhyme. As a rapper you would think my poetry would involve more rhyme schemes. Funny thing is I find it difficult to rhyme my poetry on purpose. thanks for the nod;I’ll be stopping by here more often.
Cheers.
Thanks for following my blog! Best of wishes! Writers FTW!
Corey, I like the honestly written “About Me”.
I wish you best of luck for your purported writing career.
cheers
Good luck on reaching your goals. You’ve got the right idea – keep writing and posting. It’s the best way to grow as a writer/poet
Hi Corey, thanks for the ‘follow’ of the Pete’s Pots blog. I enjoy moulding clay into pottery and words into poetry, and combining the two seemed a good idea.
I like your style, and it’s great to see a poetry site enjoying such popularity. There’s so much talent out there, and you are helping to bring it to the light of day. I’ll keep watching with interest, and wish you well.
Hi, Corey, I’m delighted you stopped by my blog and got me interested in coming by here! I will enjoy watching your work and sharing ideas and inspirations. One that immediately comes to mind and whose work I think you would find greatly inspiring (because she is a fabulous writer, wonderful person, and has done all sorts of caregiving and teaching over her years, combining many of your stated interests
) is Celi at http://thekitchensgarden.wordpress.com/ –if you haven’t ‘met’ her yet, you really should. Fabulous woman, and full of insight and fun.
I’m impressed with all you’ve already accomplished here and wish you well as you go!
Cheers,
Kathryn
Hi, thanks for stopping by my blog.
You sound a really nice guy. I have clicked to follow you and I wish you well with all your ambitions
Glad you liked my post and after browsing through your blog I can see why you are dedicated to writing poetry because you do it in a great way.
I may have to start putting more poetry on my own page…Thanks for the inspiration….John H.
Glad you found me, that led me to you. Good luck with your poetry/writing.
Your maturity surprises me; keep up the good work.
Thank you for appreciating my efforts.

Corey,
Thanks for stopping by my blog and following. I’m glad you found something there that spoke to you. You’re to be commended for having the integrity to stand by your convictions and to throw your energy into your art. I wish you all the best of luck in your writing. Much talent.
Thanks for visiting my blog. i look forward to reading your posts too.
Hey, thanks for the follow & for introducing me to a new world of poetry. much love & smiles
Wow. You seriously have a passion for poetry. I don’t even know where to start. I am new to this whole WordPress deal, so you may have to help me out… if you miraculously find the time. I mean, you seem to have a lot of followers, lol! My poetry comes every now and then, but you seem to write every single day… or at least a lot. I am impressed…
If you ever need any help regarding WordPress dont be afraid to ask!
Thank you very much, When it comes to writing i’m full of ideas so theres always something to write about!
You seem to be a professional when it comes to poetry. What do you make of ‘Didn’t He Know?’ I could use constructive criticism… and a little bit of praise!
I dont have anything bad to say to be honest! It was a great little poem! the firsttwo words “Hello Darkness” i loved that!
Thanks a bunch. I’m actually going through your poetry right now. It’s… overwhelming because you have so much to say, and that’s a good thing. Not only do I feel your emotion behind your words, but your poetry is very… informative. It helps voice many subjects that I am very unfamiliar with and I feel less… I don’t know… ignorant now? Haha. I love your work. It’s awesome.
I set up the rating gadget thing so feel free to rate my poem if you’d like. I have a question. How do I change the default image to a picture I want? You know, you have your custom photo next to your comments and I have my green default one next to mine… How do I change that? Would it also change the boring, default grey picture next to my name at the top of the page when I’m logged in? Help!
Thank you very much for the follow. I can’t wait to see what else you bring us. So far I have enjoyed what I read. Best of Luck!
Thanks for the “like” and for following my blog. We wordsmiths need to stick together.
wow, the amount of poetry you have on here is impressive – it’s great that you found your passion already, you definitely have a way with rhymes. And thanks for following my blog!
Wow young man, I must say, you have impressed me.
Thank you for the follow, for it allowed me to find out about a young man across the world,
who has mad talent with words.
May you continue to pour your heart onto paper.
May you continue to have the strength of mind to share it with us all!
Love from Tahoe
Tracey

Hello! thanks for following my blog and especially for for ‘liking’ that horrible first attempt at black.out poetry. haha. I think I should be trying to do more poetry these days.
Goodluck on your love for poems. Glad to know you are behaving pretty good nowadays. Me too.
I’m about your age, and I know how it can be to find a passion like writing. People sometimes look at you like you’re a flake. But we know the truth
I think it’s better to be passionate so strongly about something than living the day-to-day with bleakness. So, keep at it!
I can see the progression of your mind and your talent in your writing. If your writing only ever touches one person, you have done more than many people will ever try to or have accomplished. You can definately see your passion, creativity and flow in each post. Keep up the good work!
*We must live in reality, but we soar in Dreams; and in dreams, spread our wings in Love*.
I love your poetry. You make me laugh, you make me think, and you make me laugh when I am thinking. You have a gift in the way that you bring truth through humor. You probably have more than 200 followers, I don’t know, but I am awarding you the Liebster Blog Award because I like your blog so much. Thanks for being an inspiration. Details about the award can be found on my blog at this link: http://haiku365.wordpress.com/2012/02/23/liebster-blog-award/

You are on your way. Some of us take the long route but that is not a bad thing. We find and see things that the others are not aware of. It is one of your gifts and makes you who you are and that is something special.
I am glad you enjoyed today’s post.

Hello there…
Great work señor! I am particularly fond of freestyle wordsmithing. When reading other poets work who style this way its great to play with tempos and cadence… and man, when a rhythm is found it like the click of a key in a lock…a door flashing open with a bang. It will be good to check into your works more… thanks for your contribution to the world!
Hi Carey, glad you like my blog and that you are now following it. cheers
Hi Corey, thanks for visiting my post.
I’m from New South Wales, but am yet to visit the original Wales. I think rhyming really does effect the human sub-conscious in mysterious ways. Congrats on your prolific output.
Corey, it takes real strength of character to deny yourself pleasures that your friends enjoy. It seems to me you have made a good start on your way to achieving your goals. Your poem a day challenge is a fabulous idea. Alas, that kind of inspiration comes my way only once or twice a year. I just wanted to thank you for visiting my site.
Hey, thanks for the follow mate. Really inspiring to see someone like you exude so much positive confidence and interest in your own things, like poetry. Total respect.
Cheers, x

hi there! please read : http://littlefurrow.wordpress.com/2012/04/21/first-award/
i hope you don’t mind?
Corey,
Spontaneity — they say — is the spice of life. And there’s nothing wrong with free-flow. I would never write a thing if spontaneity were not a force in my art.
After the spontaneity comes a time to reflect, and do the arduous task of editing. This discipline enables you to hone, to clarify, to tune your work to precision.
And, as you may know, but will certainly discover, that process can continue for a long, long time.
A little farther down the shoreline from you, at age 62, I encourage you to write and learn, and learn and write.
Thank you, by the way, for stopping by my blog to read “For Such a Time.”
